Graduated from Moscow Institute of Medicine and Dentistry. Has had a specialization course in Cardiology at the Department of Cardiology of Hospital No. 50 (Moscow).
In 2003, he passed an examination of the Mexican Council of Cardiologists in Mexico City where he worked as a practicing cardiologist in a private clinic for a few years. In the period from 2004 to 2006, Dr Gorbachyov served as a cardiologist in a clinic for patients with nicotine dependency at the Mexican Institute of Pulmonary Diseases.
In the period from 2006 to 2007, he served as a cardiologist and general practitioner in a private health centre in Moscow. Has authored 2 publications devoted to the problem of smoking. In 2006, Dr Gorbachyov wrote 2 articles on lipid metabolism disturbances and a brief review of the smoker’s lipid profile for Mexican medical journals.
Since May 2007, Dr Gorbachyov has been practicing as a therapeutic cardiologist at the ЕМС.
